We were in Rome for 3 days, and of all the food we tried, of all the restaurants we ventured to, Alsessandro's meal was the best. Not only was it made with love and family recipes, but he also took the time to teach us how the food was made, the history behind it, why certain wine's pair well with the meal, and that's just the beginning. My fiance and I felt incredibly welcome and as if we made a new friend in Italy. We can't wait to go back because we will 1000% do this again!

Alessandro is a talented and well educated chef and a lovely person. Our dinner with him was delicious and one of our favourite experiences in Rome. He prepared a 100% plant based meal as per our request. I will recommend this opportunity to all my friends.

I booked with Alessandro for a group of friends as we celebrated a friends 40th. We were also looking for a different experience to the usual restaurant excursions. The host was great with such a large group and everyone in the group enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent, and the wine even more so.

Great food and wine from a wonderful host, chef and sommelier. Alessandro (Tony) was great. The reason I give it a 4 is because of BonAppetour's misleading promotion, suggesting an evening with a Roman couple. It ended up being a meal in a home restaurant with 10 other customers.

We had a great experience dining with Alessandro. The food was very authentic traditional Roman cuisine, but he still managed to put his personal twist on every dish he served. The atmosphere and company at his house was friendly and familiar. As a seasoned chef and sommelier, he was also happy to share his knowledge about where else to find good food and wine in Rome and Italy, so we could make the most out of the rest of our trip. We had so much fun cooking an authentic and delicious Italian dinner with Alessandro. The recipes we made were amazing, we were so satisfied with the dinner and enjoyed learning old family cooking tips from Alessandro. Our conversations with him were so easy and he made us feel right at home. If we are back in Rome we definitely plan on cooking with our new friend Alessandro again. Alessandro was a spectacular host! My friends and I participated in the vegan pasta making class and not only was the food delicious, we learned so much about the process. Alessandro was careful to explain everything thoroughly and even provided the recipes we could take with us to prepare the dishes at home. Alessandro was very personable and a great conversationalist. It was a joy to learn about his family, his career path, and tidbits about Italy in general. He even emailed us with many other suggestions and recommendations for activities, restaurants and areas to explore. We had an amazing experience, topped off by a shot of homemade limoncello! The only suggestion I would make, is to perhaps offer a light appetizer during the cooking. Highly recommend! Thanks so much Alessandro!

We had a lovely evening at alessandro’s home restaurant. Food was great and was paired with wines which were expertly explained by our host. We were joined by a couple from USA who we hit it off with straight away. Thoroughly enjoyable evening I would recommend this to anyone considering it. The evening ended with a taste of allesandros home made lemoncelli which was delicious.

We are always looking for ways to experience the place/ country as a local and cooking class combined with dinner in Alessandro house was a perfect choice. From day one - first email exchange - Alessandro shows he really cares about his guests and provide you with all the info you might need. Very patient and polite cooking teacher. Him and his girlfriend are very kind and interesting people and make you feel during the dinner like you are visiting your friends. I highly recommend the whole experience.
