ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

Welcome to HCM Cooking Class, where not only will my team and I will teach you how to cook, but also how to use food as medicine and discover Vietnamese food culture. Vietnamese food is one of the healthiest cuisines in the world.
Our class is held in a beautiful Agricultural Organic farm where you will see our Vietnamese Medicine Garden with many different kinds of herbs, spices and vegetables. You will learn about the process of growing many kinds of mushrooms in our Mushroom House and experience what it is like to be a Vietnamese farmer.
You will then select herbs and vegetables from our garden and our talented, professional chef including myself will show you how easy it is to prepare delicious healthy food using these ingredients.
Your time in the Agricultural Village is a great chance to escape the hustle and bustle of busy HCM city where you will replace the sound of bike and car horns with the peaceful sounds of cows, birds, ducks, frogs and other inhabitants of our organic farm land.

We focus 100% healthy food and following customers’ requirements. So they can choose all famous Vietnamese dishes they would Love to cook. We will cook 4 dishes a day (Entrée, Salad, Main Course and Dessert). So you can choose whatever you want to cook below, or contact me for more option!!

ABOUT THELOCATION

My farm was started in 2012, dedicated to growing vegetables, herbs and mushroom, and raising livestock in an organic way. Enjoy the fresh air and incredible farmland experience far away from the city, especially if you are planning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels where Vietnamese soldiers fought during the Vietnam War - just 10km away (around 15 mins drive from here)

It is an interesting cooking class. The location is around 1.5 hours drive from HCM. It will lead you to country side. The farm is an organic farm. You can learn the herbs and pick up the vegetables you would need for the class later. The Chef Nga and Guide Chee gave me unforgettable cooking experience. Our talk and cooking made tmy time in Vietnam super fun. I would recommend this program.

My husband and I had a wonderful day with HCM Cooking Class! They were gracious enough to accommodate our travel schedule, and begin the day around 7A. After being picked up at our hotel, we visited a rice paper factory before heading to the organic farm to pick our own herbs, mushrooms, etc. before our cooking class. A huge bonus for us was getting to select our own menu - and everything we made was absolutely delicious! We could not have asked for a better "farm to table" cooking experience, and it was so nice to get out of the business of the city for a while!

Tan is a great host and a great chef with plenty of knowledge and mastery in farming and cooking. Our journey through the herbs and vegetables garden was amazing where we learn a lot about the many of the herbs use and effect on our life. The cooking class was hands-on and fun to do, with the ingredients all picked, processed and cooked ourselves! Many techniques that chef Tan taught us are very useful. And most importantly, it was so convenient as we were about to go visit the Cu Chi Tunnels nearby!
