ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE
Grandma's Cooking Barcelona offers hands-on cooking classes in Barcelona in order to share tradition through cuisine. Let our Grandmas (or Grandpas!) share the recipes that have been passed down to them through generation after generation, uniquely Spanish and Catalan.
Come and spend a lovely time with Grandma in the kitchen, assisted by a "Social Cook", as we like to call them, who will translate for her and make sure that you are having a great time while learning the traditional cuisine of Spain straight from the source.
In our hands-on format, Grandma will teach you to cook a full menu from scratch consisting of a starter, main dish, and dessert. Once everything has been prepared, everyone will come together to eat! The dishes will be paired with local wines or refreshments.
Connect to the rich culinary tradition of Spain in a relaxed and casual atmosphere while cooking with friends and/or family. We'll see you in the kitchen!
ABOUT THELOCATION
Our classes take place in different districts of the city. Location changes depending on group size, as we utilize different kitchen labs centrally located in Barcelona. We will define a meeting point at least 48 hours before the event takes place.

We thoroughly enjoyed this special cooking class and feast with Ives. Shopping in La Boqueria Market and then cooking on his rooftop terrace with a full kitchen, overlooking all of Barcelona, was terrific. We are still trying to replicate his delicious seafood paella. We cooked with two other couples. Dinner, wine and conversation as the moon rose over Barcelona with the lights twinkling below was magical. It was a memorable experience!

such an amazing amazing experience!! whether you are with your kids best friends or random people the class is a great experience! I've taken two classes, the food is incredible, he sends you the recipes and is so nice and helpful and its a really good time! If you are in Barcelona you have to take this class especially paella on the roof, I promise you will NOT regret it!

This was one of the best experiences I had in Barcelona. Yves was absolutely lovely, really friendly and clearly very passionate about food, and it was so nice to be welcomed into his beautiful home and meet his (very cute) kids!
