Creativity, passion, natural flavours, good company: that's what I call a special dinner! My husband, our baby girl and I spent a very pleasant night with Ileana and her friends and we were delighted by her vegetarian dishes. A week has passed and we are still talking about that wonderful cream of pumpkin,potatoes,mushrooms and radicchio, the orange scented saffron risotto with almond butter and the exquisite chickpea flans with tomato and rosemary sauce, to name but a few. The memory makes me drool! Thank you Ileana, see you soon.

Last week I had the pleasure to have a fantastic dinner with the specialties of chef Ileana! We were very surprised by the striking ingredient combination of the dishes on the menu. The saffron risotto with almond butter and orange zest was amazing, the peas and ginger starter was truly flavourful and delicious and the second course too. We ended the meal with a simple and lovely fruit based dessert. Excellent Italian cooking, I’d love to eat here again.

I personally know Ileana since at least twenty years and in a sort of way I saw her passion for food rising and growing day after day, fostered by her curiosity and determination. After putting Ileana’s cooking skills several times on probation, I was astonished by her ability to both reproduce traditional tastes and be imaginative when the situation/event requires it. Quality and freshness play a primary role in Ileana’s cooking and the ingredients are carefully selected (together with their provenience). I once had the chance to cook with her and I learned several ways to cook the same food and still obtain different tastes from it - thanks for the tips! I can only advise to try Ileana’s cooking out and let you be surprised by the intensity and the exoticism of her creations. Joy through food!
