I have a rustic kitchen made out of an old barn, with a wood-burning oven for homemade bread and pizza, situated in a terraced vineyard that I cultivate with passion. I do not like too-equipped kitchens, and prefer simplicity. i like to use a good knife, wooden ladles and especially the hands, when it comes to cooking. I love to invite people to share the authentic products of my garden, gathered and eaten in the most simple manner, because in this world of tastes and possibilities that I experience around the world, we have forgotten the taste of real food.

I would like that my guests can gather comfortably around my table to enjoy a meal together. On a sunny day, we can make the dough by hand and dry it in the sun briefly to give it the right consistency! We can also cook with the sun using our solar barbecue


The best part of dining together is the sharing of a carefree time because when you eat together you do not have think much - but to just relax and enjoy.

The Menu is the result of your food and taste preferences. I prefer a menu that allows me to use all the fresh products of my garden, then a mostly vegetarian cuisine and rich in aromatic and healing herbs , with some exceptions for a fish of the day! The menu is seasonal and I always customize it to the preferences of the guests

my specialty is rich green salads mixed with herbs have been forgotten, topped with fruit syrups and delicious dressing, garnished with flowers, seeds, nuts and fruits both fresh and candied
lemon,... the wine , the vinegar and oil mine production

I love marinades, soups and fried anchovies accompanied by fresh green onions, and a fresh mint sauce, with toasted bread.

I love the sweet and sour cuisine, handed down by the Romans and our nearby Pompeii region ... but when i take fragrant bread out of my wood oven then becomes only "scarpetta" lunch (italian way to clean your dish by the left over souce with bread )

I'm not good with sweets ... so I rely on the expert hands of my great aunt !!!


In the family vineyard, where I delight in the traditional cultivation, i have a rustic kitchen made from an old barn with vaulted ceiling and old exposed beams, a place for me authentic and rare, with a handircraft wooden oven , for the preparation of bread and pizza. Large old style table which comfortably accommodates 8 people. I offer not only food but for those who want a whole experience... from garden to table....

If you have any chance to dine at Teda's, do it! I stayed for a month in Italy and this was hands down the best dinner/dinner experience during that time. Teda is a delight and a superb cook. Everything was freshly grown/caught/cooked and amazingly flavorful. But let's start at the beginning: Teda picked us up in the plaza, and since Teda's house can't be reached by car, she led the way to Praiano's charming little vias to her property where many of the veggies and herbs we had for dinner are grown. The dinner took place in a building from the 1700s, white washed, cozy, and romantic. The table was set beautifully with local ceramics. We started out by assembling our own appetizer, grilled mozzarella in lemon leaves, soooo delicious. This was followed by 4 more courses, freshly prepared right there, one more amazing than the next. So much flavor, such beautiful presentation. All of this followed by homemade limoncello. If you want the real Italian experience, this is it. Teda was the perfect hostess, charming, interesting, skillful, who made us so welcome we didn't want to leave. Her english is perfect and she was easy to talk to. Thank you, Ida, we so enjoyed that evening. It was a highlight of our trip. Mille grazie!

My Wife Brianne and I had the most wonderful dinner with Teda. She cooked for us in her kitchen which was small but very functional. The dishes she made us were all delicious and we had more food than we could handle. Teda is very sweet lady and it was such an enjoyable experience to join her and taste her amazing food. Highly recommend.




We had an absolutely wonderful time with Teda! Her cooking was excellent and the meal was delicious. It was the perfect combination of traditional Italian food with her family's unique recipes. And good homemade wine. She was sweet and hospitable. Everything was truly made from scratch with most of it coming from her garden! The setting was also unique. One small room that was a 16th century barn. Stone walls and wooden benches. Be sure to check out the restroom next door! It is a bit of a hike up and down stairs to get there so not likely the best place for elderly or disabled. I would highly recommend this unique dining experience when staying in the area!

This review is way overdue, but better late than never! We had an amazing experience in Teda's kitchen. The food she created was so wonderful and tasty. We also had an incredible range of dishes and even got to help with one of them. The setting could have been in a magazine. We felt that this was a truly special experience that not everyone gets when traveling. We highly recommend this BonAppetour experience!
