This dish is a staple food on our tables (Jordan and Palestine). It comes with a number of variations, it can be stuffed without meat, only vegetables and rice (called Yallanji) with olive oil and lemon juice...

It can be stuffed with (rice, minced meat, vegetables, olive oil, lemon juice), can be cooked with lamb chops, chicken, and other types of meat.

It is always served with wide range of salads. Tasteful and light meal at the same time.

ABOUT THEMENU

Main dish:
Wara'a Enab and Kusa (stuffed with rice, minced meat, vegetable, olive oil, and spices) and pieces of lamb chops.
Served with: Tabouleh (regular), Armenian Tabouleh, green salad (Arabic salad), and cucumber with Greek yogurt salad.
Water and soft drink (soda) will be served.

Dessert:
Harisseh
Black tea (mint or sage) or coffee (Arabic or Turkish)

ABOUT THELOCATION

Amman, typical average Ammani neighborhood, where Jordanians live. A very local residential area. At a family house where our host (mother / grandmother) will be cooking traditional meals according to authentic and traditional methods. The experience you will get, is authentic traditional meal prepared by a mother who picks all the ingredients by herself and who knows what should be an authentic taste for a traditional dish should be.
