In the kitchen of a Parisian apartment in the 9th arrondissement, Marion or Aurélie will teach how to bake your own macarons at home during a private class.
These delicate French pastries require patience and we will share a few tips for you to perfect them.
You will learn to make the ganache (the inside) and the meringue (the shells).
You will also have time to bake a second traditional pastry (madeleines, chocolate moelleux ...).
Then you will taste your delicacies with a beverage and take away the recipes and a box with the left overs.
Get ready for this very Parisian and gourmet experience !
The class takes place in the 9th arrondissement, close to Montmartre, le Moulin rouge and the departments stores.

Our morning with Marian was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Not only did we learn how to make delicious macarons and madeleines, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful conversation we had throughout the morning. Marian is so warm and friendly, and we look forward to booking another class with her on our next trip to Paris. Trust me when I say that this experience is not to be missed!
The experience was wonderful! Aurélie was a fantastic host and teacher and the macaroons and madeleine were delicious in both their flavor and simplicity. The icing on the cake was getting great recommendations for where to grab the best crepes and the best bakery in Paris. This made for a truly lovely day and I would highly recommend this.
4 great women friends from the US had a fabulous time! We can all go home and make macaroons now!! Plus we had the bonus of madeleines! Sharing Aurelio home added another element that we would not otherwise have had the opportunity to experience.
Very successful and fun
We had the most lovely time making macarons with Aurelie. She was so welcoming and gracious teaching us in her beautiful kitchen. The tricks and precision to macaron and her fool proof recipe made the most delicious treats! This class is a Paris must do!
We were received for the course of macaroons and Aurélie was a great host. She had prepared ingredients and let us make mixtures. She gives us many coocking tricks to do it again at home. As a french, I can tell that I learned a lot during this class. After the tasting with a tea, we left with macaroons and madeleines, delight!
We baked with Aurelie in her spotless apartment this afternoon. She made us feel completely at ease in her lovely apartment and she was wonderful with both my daughters, ages 8 & 11. We made fruit tarts, madeleines, and zucchini/thyme quiches. Aurelie taught the girls how to measure ingredients using a scale and many other different baking techniques. Several times my daughters commented on how they had never had better pastries in their life - Clearly, they were loving the treats they prepared and baked themselves and were having the best time ever under Aurelie's guidance! Aurelie packed us all the leftovers after the tasting, to bring back home to enjoy later - they were so many!! This is an experience that will stay with my daughters for a long, long time. We will be back next year for another class. It's 100% worth it! Thank you Aurelie for sending us off with delicious treats and happy memories :)
My wife and I and our two daughters spent the afternoon baking with Aurélie. She was great. She uses her kitchen in her private apartment for her lessons. It was immaculately clean. She worked with the girls, step by step, as they made madeleines, strawberry galettes, and individual chocolate cakes, from scratch. She was wonderful with the kids and she taught them the proper ways to measure, weigh, and mix the ingredients. We ate the desserts at her dining room table, and still had plenty of our homemade goodies to take back to the hotel with us. Recommend 100%.
On our family's recent trip to Paris, we, including my two granddaughters age 9 and 7, took a baking class with Aurelie. She was a great teacher, getting us all involved, but focusing on getting our two little girls to take charge. They made three pastries, each delicious. We sampled the results and came home with a big box of goodies. This was definitely a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend it!!
