Come have fun cooking pasta with your friends and learn to prepare some of the best Italian classics with Antonella at her lovely home. This warm and amazing home chef believes in practical and hearty home-styled cooking, and she will dish out tips on cooking a truly memorable Italian meal so you can do the same back at home.
The soul of the pasta is the sauce! Let Antonella show you how to cook delicious pasta dishes using simple ingredients. You will not believe how good it can taste! You will learn to cook 2 types of fresh pasta from scratch, along with the sauces to turn them into amazing dishes. On top of that, Antonella will also teach you how to shape a classical Italian bread, called Panini.
After cooking, you can enjoy dinner together with wine on the terrace, which has an amazing view overlooking all of Florence. And if you would like to explore Florence, Antonella will be happy to tell you just where to go so you can experience Florence to the fullest!
Antonella's house is a loft with two terraces outside: one all around the loft, one upstairs with an amazing view where you can see all of Florence and the hills. It is near the city center, only 10 minutes by foot from the Duomo of Brunelleschi. It's one of the highest houses in the area, so you can see everything. From the terrace you can see Piazzale Michelangelo, Fiesole, which is a beautiful, small town on a hill and another very small town nearby called Settignano. Her house is spacious inside, with ample room to sit and relax.
My name is Antonella. I live in Tuscany, Italy. I am happy to live in a beautiful place like this. I
Our time with Antonella was amazing! My fiancee (at the time girlfriend) and I were on a 2 week Italy holiday and our cooking class with Antonella was by far one of our top highlights of the trip. We enjoyed our great conversations and fun home-made meal in her beautiful home and would recommend it to anyone!
My husband and I had a lovely time and cooking session with Antonella. She is delightful and very welcoming. It was a special feeling and very authentic to be cooking in a true Italian home. My only thought was that I would have liked it to be more hands on. Being that she has a very small kitchen, I understand why this may not be feasible. We did very much appreciate that we were able to take photos. Antonella was more than generous in sharing her recipes with us, but it might be a little better/helpful if the recipes were printed out and handed to us instead. Thank you we enjoyed it and would recommend this class to others. Susan and Michael Schenk On Fri, Aug 24, 2018 at 11:54 PM BonAppetour <[email protected]> wrote:
This was really a fun evening, Antonella is a great host! We absolutely enjoyed her home and her company. The cooking class was fun and Antonella is really good at sharing cooking tips and tricks throughout the evening with each dish we made! Everything was delicious! We have already bought all the ingredients at home so we can make for our family! The evening was fun, relaxing, and offered a unique view into a wonderful home with a great host. We hope we will be back and do it again!!
This was our first stop on our trip to Florence. Antonella's Cooking Experience was the best. Besides being a great host and person, her home was amazing!! Two levels totally emersed in greenery with top level 360 views of Florence. There is no other way to enjoy a local experience of for and conversation. My girlfriend and had the pleasure of having her teach us how to make three different dishes. By the time we were done all we needed to do was sleep. Soooo good. We were there for about 4hrs and Antonella still wanted to keep showing us more. This experience is a must to start off your trip.
The experience was wonderful! I learned some new recipes that were unique and delicious. I learned how to make three different kinds of bread and two different kinds of pasta. Antonella is a lovely host and I would highly recommend this experience for someone wanting to learn how to make homemade italian food.
