As part of the BonAppetour curation team, I had the chance to dine with Siriluk and her husband Massimo at their lovely home in Phuket. We had a lovely lunch of the crunchy Som Tum (papaya salad), Tamarin Prawns, Tom Kha Kai (chicken herbal soup) as well as crispy fried chicken joints (may sound new but very addictive!). At the table, Massimo tell us more about himself and why he has decided to move from Italy to Thailand and keeping us engaged with his travel stories while Siriluck kept filling the table with more food and her hospitality! For dessert, we moved to their gardem to enjoy a sweet and slightly savory pumpkin cooked in coconut milk. Both of them explained about the plants in their garden and some of the ingredient they pluck from this garden to use as part of Siriluk's cooking! Overall I felt very welcome and the food was deliciously comforting!
