We are a cooking school that provides cooking classes to teach you how to make real homely Italian cooking from scratch. Our goal is to take you back to the old days, where the kitchen was the hub of the home, a place to discuss, share knowledge, tastes and passions. We really feel like our experience is fun for foodies of any age!
We can even arrange a market before the class to buy fresh food, let us know if this is something that would interest you!
* Please note, to customise an English lesson we need a minimum of 4 people. The timing can be decided as per both our convenience!
We are located in a central area of Milan, inside a charming 17th century farmhouse called "Cascina Cuccagna".
Close to the underground stop "Porta Romana" or "Lodi Tibb" (Yellow line - Central station and Duomo Line), a supermarket in front of the location and twice a week (tuesday and friday) fresh grocery market. We are close to the Porta Romana gate. This area is one of the historic districts of Milan, it is a great place to go shopping and admire the opulent 19th century- and early 20th century buildings.
Mariangela was a wonderful host. She patiently and expertly guided us through all the dishes, giving us great tips all the way through. The kitchen she teaches in is first-class and the ingredients she sources are also high quality. I would highly recommend this experience.

Mariangela was the BEST host ever. Honestly, if I could give her 6 stars I would. I am a college student at UC Berkeley, and am spending a semester at Milan through a study abroad program. I knew I wanted to take a cooking class, and this class went above and beyond my expectations. Not only was she extremely patient with me and my two friends (also from the U.S.), I learned a lot about cooking -- from how spinach will last longer in the fridge if boiled, to how adding sugar or baking soda will make tomato sauce less acidic -- and although the class was only supposed to be 3 hours, we chatted with her about her life experiences, and ended up staying for almost 4.5 hours. She never rushed us once. The cooking classroom is very homey, too. She is extremely accommodating, nice, hilarious, and I have absolutely zero complaints. Grazie mille!! You're the best!!!
Mariangela was extremely accommodating and provided a great experience for our dinner! She was flexible with our menu questions and changes ahead of time and provided a great environment to cook and eat. I highly recommend her and would definitely do the experience again.
This was the best part of our 5 day trip to Italy! There were 4 of us Americans (2 couples) and it was such a great experience. Mariangela was in contact with us before the event helping coordinate a menu that all of us would enjoy. We made a pasta, a fish dish, and a dessert. The food was amazing - the best food we had on our entire Italy trip. She provided one bottle of wine, but we brought more bottles as well, as we enjoyed drinking while we were cooking too. It was so fun making the pasta from scratch, and there were leftovers of each meal so we could eat until our bellies exploded too. Mariangela helped us cook, and taught us alot, it was very informal and relaxed with just the 4 of us friends & Mariangela. The venue is in a cute old farmhouse. Her space has an industrial kitchen and cute dining room. We invited Mariangela to sit down with us for dinner as we felt as if she was family by the end of the evening. It was so nice hearing stories from a local. It was such a nice, intimate evening.
