This was the greatest Experience. Simply put! It was our topic of conversation and the measure of all things. WONDERFULL.

We had a wonderful evening with Alessandro and his girlfriend Elena at their home. The dinner was excellent, and paired with a very tasty red wine. Alessandro even prepared a birthday cheesecake for my little sister, and we sang happy birthday to her! It was so much fun chatting with Alessandro and Elena about Italy, and also learning about their many interests and projects. They are a very creative, friendly, and talented couple! We highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling through Rome, especially after a long day exploring the Vatican Museum. Next time we visit Rome, we hope to see them again!

Fantastic experience with Alessandro and Elena! Alessandro is an amazing chef and there are both fantastic hosts. He prepared authentic Roman dishes and also definitely knows his wine. A must-try when in Rome.

I can't say enough about the incredible evening we had at Alessandro's home. From the moment we walked through his white gate, we were transported to a magical place, which was a combination of his beyond compare hospitality, simply gorgeous setting and the most delicious/exquisite meal we have had on our entire vacation. (Which is saying a LOT as we are now on a cruise through Greece, Turkey and the Amalfi coast. When I asked my husband what has been the highlight of our trip so far (we have visited Santorini, Mykonos, Athens and, of Rome) his immediate response was meeting Alessandro and the amazing evening. I doubt there is a better choice in Rome as he is not only a professional chef but a phenomenal sommelier as well. Sitting on his beautiful terrace, dining on the most scrumptious meal, paired with absolutely perfect wines and phenomenal company (his girlfriend is a sweetheart) and then to be treated to his homemade limoncello (made with the lemons from his lemon tree right there on the terrace)... I don't need to say anymore, I'm sure you get the entire picture! There truly are no words to adequately describe this incredible experience, you simply MUST have it for yourself! We actually talked about returning to Rome just to have dinner with Alessandro again! He deserves 10 stars!!!! I have already recommended him to some friends that are going to spend a few days in Rome after the cruise.

Local dishes and wine, good company, pleasant surroundings. A good way to get to understand Rome and Romans.

We had so much fun cooking an authentic and delicious Italian dinner with Alessandro. The recipes we made were amazing, we were so satisfied with the dinner and enjoyed learning old family cooking tips from Alessandro. Our conversations with him were so easy and he made us feel right at home. If we are back in Rome we definitely plan on cooking with our new friend Alessandro again. Thank you for making our visit to Rome so special and memorable!

Alessandro was a spectacular host! My friends and I participated in the vegan pasta making class and not only was the food delicious, we learned so much about the process. Alessandro was careful to explain everything thoroughly and even provided the recipes we could take with us to prepare the dishes at home. Alessandro was very personable and a great conversationalist. It was a joy to learn about his family, his career path, and tidbits about Italy in general. He even emailed us with many other suggestions and recommendations for activities, restaurants and areas to explore. We had an amazing experience, topped off by a shot of homemade limoncello! The only suggestion I would make, is to perhaps offer a light appetizer during the cooking. Highly recommend! Thanks so much Alessandro!

We had a lovely evening at alessandro’s home restaurant. Food was great and was paired with wines which were expertly explained by our host. We were joined by a couple from USA who we hit it off with straight away. Thoroughly enjoyable evening I would recommend this to anyone considering it. The evening ended with a taste of allesandros home made lemoncelli which was delicious.

We are always looking for ways to experience the place/ country as a local and cooking class combined with dinner in Alessandro house was a perfect choice. From day one - first email exchange - Alessandro shows he really cares about his guests and provide you with all the info you might need. Very patient and polite cooking teacher. Him and his girlfriend are very kind and interesting people and make you feel during the dinner like you are visiting your friends. I highly recommend the whole experience.
