Patty warmly welcomed us into her home for a lovely comfort food for dinner. She invited us into her kitchen and explained the ingredient and also gave us more about her culinary background. Having much experience in Thai and French cuisines, she taught hands-on cooking to neighbours as well as children how to cook at home without the need for complicated kitchenware. Then we moved outdoor and was joined by Patty's husband and her toddler daughter. For dinner we had had fried fish with tamarin sauce (tangy and sweet), tom kha goong (fresh and crunchy prawns!), stir fry vegetables and bitter gourd glass noodle which is my absolute favourite! Eventhough I am not a fan of the bitter vegetable, Patty's cooked it in a way that it was not bitter and the entire dish was fragrant! After that, we had 3 types of fruits and her husband made us some authentic Indian tea and we continued our conversations! Patty is a hands-on and friendly host!
