My Food Experiences
When I was in Phuket, I had the chance to join Yun for the cooking class. My friend and I learned how to make Thai spring roll and pineapple fried rice from scratch! Yun was patient and hands on as she teach us how to wrap a perfect spring roll and made sure that we do it properly so that we can make them ourselves at home! She also taught us how to find substitute ingredient in our home countries. As a language teacher herself, she has taught my friend who is non-Thai some easy and useful Thai phrases and some insight to Thai culture. She has inspired us to cook at home as it proved to be much easier and tasty and also provided us with printed easy to follow recipes to bring home! It was a fun and yummy experience!
