Planning to go towards Rieti for the weekend or want a special romantic dinner for two? Why not head out to the beautiful Sabina region and go to an intimate restaurant in a Medieval town up on a hill? Get away from the chaos of Rome and find yourself immersed in the Italian countryside.
La Maisonette offers all of this with the sumptuous menus created by Personal Chef Francesco Mancino...be it Traditional Italian, seafood or vegetarian dishes you are sure to find everything delicious. He even shares his recipes with you if you're interested. Traditionally heavy meals become lighter with his touch. The ingredients are all from local producers, including the wine.
La Maisonette can seat up to six for lunch or dinner and offers a special Romantic dinner for two option. There is also a local b&b where you can stay.
Please book at least two days ahead.

La Maisonette synonymous with good cuisine, simple and genuine, from the garden to the kitchen, with unique products from healthy organic farms and not only, cheese salami pasta, wine beer bitter, strictly craft ... a return to the ancient flavors.
We will greet you in the main square of this Medieval town on a hilltop (a stone's throw from Rieti and only a short drive from Rome) and lead you to the restaurant while giving you a little tour through winding suggestive streets past the Antique Castle and Ancient Olive Oil Mill(if open we will go inside). This exclusive and atmospheric location set in an apartment dating back to the 1200s with wooden beams and stone walls offers a wood pellet stove and intimate candlelit table with flowers and soft music. We contact you beforehand regarding the menu and any dietary restrictions to pre-approve the menu which includes prosecco, starters, wine, water, a first course, a second course for two, a choice of side dishes, and dessert. Digestifs are also available.

The menu is adapted to the type of event or occasion. Please advise us of any dietary restrictions. We will send you a menu for you to approve and from which to choose the same first course, second course and dessert for everyone.
The main ones are:

The location of all 'inside of the Home Restaurant is treated in detail in order to offer a unique service and quality, particularly suitable for evenings and relaxing atmosphere for up to six people, to get together with friends or share an experience different with new people. It is a great alternative to meet new people and enjoy simple and genuine food.
