ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

Sai Kung is the famed seaside town in Hong Kong that is popular for a weekend trip. What better place to enjoy Mediterranean food than in a cosy kitchen near to the sea!

I will like to invite you to a Mediterranean night at my place. It starts with a welcome drink and canapes, followed by a complete course with appetizer, entree, dessert, coffee/tea and home made cookies. I like to focus on cooking food from the heart that is authentic and tasty using fresh herbs and toasted spices marinating the meat overnight to enhance its flavours.

Feel free to bring your own drinks if you like, we don't have corkage charge here. I also have a collection of South African, New Zealand and Australian wines that you can pair with your meal at a affordable price.

ABOUT THEMENU

I like to serve my guests food that is made from the best ingredients I can find. The lamb is mostly from New Zealand, mussels and tuna from Canada and rest of fresh seafood is locally sourced (Sai Kung is famed for its fresh seafood offers).

I will serve you:
Hummus
Clams in mild spicy sauce
Pan-fried mackerel with mango salsa
Roast leg of lamb
Roast pumpkin with cumin seeds
Couscous with chickpeas, raisins, apricot
Orange mango panacotta

While I love Mediterranean cuisine, I am also trained in French cuisine and love to cook Traditional Malay, Cape Malay and South African, and Northern Indian cuisine. If you are feeling adventurous, feel free to "mix it up" and order some extra entrees from different cuisines (at an additional 98 HKD)! Ask me about it and I can give you more recommendations!

French: Moules Marinere - Sailor-style mussels cooked in wine

ABOUT THELOCATION

I have a cosy ground floor apartment with a patio for smokers in a quiet green area in Sai Kung which is walking distance to old town. There is a mini bus that runs every 10 minutes from Sai Kung to my place and back. I have a pet cat Soni. Dogs are welcomed in the patio.
