ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

I focus on cooking food from the heart that is authentic and tasty using fresh herbs and toasted spices marinating the meat overnight to enhance its flavours. I make authentic Malay, Cape Malay and South African, Mediterranean, Northern Indian and French Cuisine.

The lamb and beef is mostly from New Zealand, mussels and tuna from Canada and rest of fresh seafood is locally sourced.

My menu varies from different region with choices that suits your palate for the day. It starts with a welcome drink and canapes, followed by a complete course with appetizer, entree, dessert, coffee/tea and home made cookies.

ENTREE
Malay - Satays (seasoned grilled meat skewers)
French - Moules Marinere ('Sailor-style' mussels)

SIDE
Cape Malay and South African - Roasted prawns and calamaris
Mediterranean - panfried mackerel with mango salsa

MAIN
Traditional Malay - prawn sambal with coconut pandan rice
Cape Malay and South African - lamb bobotie with seasonal greens
French - roast rib eye beef with fondant potatoes
Mediterranean - roast leg of lamb

DESSERT
Vanilla coconut tart with fresh berries
Cappuccino cheese cake
Orange mango panacotta

Feel free to bring your own drinks if you like, we don't have corkage charge here. I also have a collection of South African, New Zealand and Australian wines that you can pair with your meal at a affordable price.

ABOUT THELOCATION

I have a cosy ground floor apartment with a patio for smokers in a quiet green area in Sai Kung which is walking distance to old town. There is a mini bus that runs every 10 minutes from Sai Kung to my place and back. I have a pet cat Soni. Dogs are welcomed in the patio.
