Hello everyone and thank you for your interest. Coming to my place, you shall experiment a typical Parisian dinner party. I will welcome you as I do with my friends. First, we'll have an apéritif in my living room decorated with XVIIIth century woodworks, paintings and furniture. We'll then move on to the dining room where I will serve you a three course meal. I've been brought up cooking French dishes such as boeuf bourguignon, petit salé aux lentilles, hachis parmentier. But I like adding a touch of modernity to it. My inspiration comes from the vibrant Parisian cooking scene as well as the season and the produces it brings to the market. My cooking thus varies from one season to another to cook with the freshest ingredients in order to make a delightful, tasty and memorable meal. Wine will also be served. I have my own cellar but please let me know if you have any specific requests.
A typical winter menu could include :
As a starter : cream of pumpkin or mushroom sauté
As a main dish : boeuf bourguignon, duck hachis parmentier or lamb shoulder with spices (please do not hesitate if you're looking for a vegetarian dish)
Plate of cheese from the market
As a desert : poire au vin, mousse au chocolat or panacotta with berries
I live steps away of the Champs-Elysées in a typical Haussmanian appartment built in the XIXth century. It is very central with a lot of public transportation and taxi stations around. The surroundings include some major museums such as the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, the Jacquemart-André museum, the Musée du Jeu de paume for photography and l'Orangerie where Monet's nympheas are on display. The Modern art museum is also at walking distance as well the Galliera Museum.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with Florence, our lovely host, at her beautiful apartment. As a part of our Paris trip, we decided to try local food--and dinner at Florence's home was everything we hoped for: authentic, delicious, and cozy. Florence's food was such a treat for our taste buds! Her seasonal menu included: - Savarin du jardin (parsley flan with fresh spring and summer vegetables and balsamic vinaigrette) - Tournedos ROSSINI (Beef tenderloin with foie gras, garden peas and mushrooms veal sauce) - Panna cotta with tomato and strawberry coulis topped with "granité au basilique" (basilic granita or sherbet) All above really impressed us with their restaurant quality and presentation, but we absolutely loved the panna cotta with its unique blend of tomatoe and strawberry flavours! When you enter the "appartment" it is as if you are in Belle Epoque Paris but with all the modern conveniences. Dining with Florence, a charming hostess, is a 5 star experience; the beautifully plated meal that she served was made with all fresh ingredients and beautifully plated. She will help you to select a wine that complements your dinner. A plus is that she knows all the shops to buy gourmet foods and sturdy pans to bring back home.
