Is there anything more comforting or soul-satisfying than the cuisine of the South, here in the States? There's a unctuousness released into the classic dishes that can only come from the amount of time and love it takes to produce truly outstanding Southern Soul Food. Enter: The Pleasure Principle's™ Southern Classics Menu.

ABOUT THEMENU

We'll start with:
2- hour braised Collard Greens. Slow cooked and seasoned with smoked turkey tails, shallots, garlic and little bit of apple cider vinegar.

The main course:
Shrimp and Grits. Super creamy, white polenta - really flecks of ground corn meal held together with cream and white cheddar cheese; seasoned simply with salt and coarse-ground black pepper. Jumbo, Gulf shrimp - cajun seasoned and grilled to perfection.

A little Sweet for the Savory:
Individual Pecan Pies. Our twist is to bake them in puff pastry to add a bit more texture and richness to this divine gift from the South. Delicious pecans, coated in a boozy bourbon caramel and topped with flakes of Maldon salt. Topped with a cool dollop of freshly whipped, vanilla cream- this dessert is out of this world!

Mint-Lemonade Sodas and Water will be served with this meal. Guests are free to BYOB and share whatever you think would pair well with this menu!
