This is a 65-sqm kitchen studio on the 1st floor in a traditional upper middle-class block of flats (NOT basement room). The building was built in 1920s and it has an old gate with double wings, 2 staircases, corridors, inner yard and big pillars. Our studio has a big, well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room (we don't live here). The place has vintage style furniture with warm colours and several nice objects to create a friendly atmosphere. In this kitchen studio 8-10 people can cook at the same time.

Looking for some local flavor on our Budapest trip on a bad-weather day, and couldn't have been more lucky than to find Marti's class. Goulash, hortobagy chicken pancakes, and a wonderful torte, plus some palinka and wine, was really a delightful meal. Marti is very patient at explaining, and utterly charming, lots of family background to her recipes, and we're very much looking forward to making them again at home.

We absolutely loved this experience! We learned a lot and Pixie is a great host. Definitely would recommend doing this while in Budapest!
