Indian cuisine, with it's bursts of flavours, smells and colours is a sight to behold. If you have always wanted to learn how to cook some of the most favourite Indian dishes, you have come to the right place!

Learn to cook with our home-chefs, foodies at heart, and proud ambassadors of their culture, and let them show you the way to wholesome Indian dishes. During this 3-hour long workshop, you will get a deep-dive into local Indian food culture and tradition and learn to prepare original, traditional recipes (vegetarian friendly dishes available).

The offerings vary according to the seasons and you can expect classic favourites such as Chicken Curry and Chapati, to Vegetarian friendly offerings such as Paneer Masala (fresh Cottage Cheese) and Vegetable Cutlets or Chilli Fritters.

Our cooking classes are interactive and culturally immersive - allowing you to appreciate the story and cultural aspects of cooking, while learning secret recipes, passed down through the generations, and the techniques of cooking.

After the experience, you may even have a hand at tying a sari, putting the rangoli and other traditional Indian festivities. These are perfect photo opportunities, and a memento of your Singaporean adventure.

All equipment and ingredients provided, participants will get to sit down and enjoy the food they helped prepare.

Sample Menu:
- Paneer Butter Masala or Chicken Curry
- Chapati or Naan or Briyani Rice
- Dessert of the Day

* If you have any particular favourites dishes that you want to learn, let us know, and your local chef may be able to incorporate it within the experience!

After the delicious cooking class and eating what has been cooked, learn how to tie the traditional indian garment - the sari OR learn to put up the rangoli - designs made on the ground with coloured rice.

Our local chefs are located all around Singapore, in easily accessible locations. Let us know if you have any location preferences and we will be able to match you to our local hosts in those areas.

The best experience in Singapore!! I really enjoy the time with Kirit's family! Super good vegetarian food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is just full of bursting flavours, really authentic and delicious!! The environment itself is very comfortable. Kirit and family dynamics of teamwork is just excellent. They are all so hospitable and warm, felt like home! Great Customer Service, excellence is all we could experience! My wife and myself felt like a VIP there! We really enjoy the whole experience and would definitely come back again. We give a 5 stars!!!!

Our hosts, Rani and her family were wonderful! Not only did they teach us about food from Kerala, they also showed us family pictures, dance performances, and more! It was truly a memorable experience to share an afternoon with delicious food and lots of laughing! Their home was very spacious and by the end of the meal we felt like we were a part of the family! I would definitely recommend this experience for those eager to try Indian cuisine, or those who already love Indian food but are wanting the homemade specialties!

Came across this BonAppetour experience through Facebook and thought it would be a good way to spice up my stay in Singapore. Never would I have thought that I took that many steps during this challenge (tracked it with my fitbit), which motivated me a lot. Really a different form of exercising & I enjoyed it very much. None of the challenges were tough, but none of them were easy either - making it, I'd say, suitable for all ages and even families as well. This would've been the highlight of my vacation yet! Would highly recommend this to everyone!

Very interestibg tour. I tried dishes that were quite good but the kinds I never would've ventured alone without explanation. Not only did I learn about the particulars of the inteoduced food but also got some insight about the areas we were visiting. The stalls indeed were quite popular as the line was quite long at each stall. It would've been better if the food wasn't sitting there for a bit and we wouldn't have minded to wait maybe 5 min or so once we got to each stall. but I can also understand it would be difficult to time when the queue was not predictable. Angela, the tour guide, was so great as she was very experienced in handling customers and insightful in Singaporean history. I recommend this tour to those who are new to Singapore or Singaporean cuisine. Be sure you go on an empty stomach!!

I first learned about BonAppetour on Instagram. Their ad popped up on my feed and it got me curious. My family and I were very keen on trying out the Michelin star hawkers here in Singapore but we never have the time to cue up (as waiting could take up to hours and that doesn't guarantee you getting a meal as these hawkers get soldout early). Their food tour was the perfect opportunity for us to try these famous meals. So without knowing what to expect, I booked a tour for us. Booking was easy as it was confirmed quickly by the host. I had a few questions and he answered some. As the tour was approaching, My husband and I started to get worried as they weren't replying nor contacting us as to where or how we should meet. We were starting to think that it might be a fraud. Fortunately, on the morning before the tour, we decided to contact someone from BonAppetour's website. We got a response and finally was able to breathe properly as it was a legit tour. We met our guide at Lavender station and started our tour. It was a great experience for all of us. BonAppetour even provided a small slice of cake and sang a birthday song for our daughter's birthday. Good attention to details as I've mentioned prior that we were celebrating her birthday. Overall, the small hiccup in the beginning was okay as the whole experience made up for it. It was very liberating experiencing Singapore culture at its finest. Thanks, BonAppetour!
