Come share an amazing dinner experience with your friends and eat some of the most famous Italian dishes. When the weather is nice, the dinner will be served upstairs on our beautiful terrace overlooking all of Florence. The menu has a lot of variety so you can enjoy genuine Italian food and also I can show you how to make these dishes so you can learn and make it for yourself back home. I can give you advice about where to go and what to see here so you can experience Florence to the fullest!
Our house is a loft with two terraces outside: one all around the loft, one upstairs with an amazing view where you can see all of Florence and the hills, entirely panoramic. It is near the city center, only 15 minutes by foot from the Duomo of Brunelleschi. It's one of the highest houses in the area, so you can see everything. From the terrace you can see Piazzale Michelangelo, Fiesole, which is a beautiful, small town on a hill and another very small town nearby called Settignano. My house is spacious inside, with ample room to sit where we can have coffee, tea, an appetizer and make a fire. I promise you will leave feeling happy and relaxed.

What a wonderful time. Very gracious host with a beautiful place to enjoy a fantastically prepared meal. Overall just a wonderful evening.
our evening with Antonella was perfect… The food was amazing as well as the conversation. Me and my husband felt like we made a new friend. Grazie!!!
A wonderful evening with Antonella in an exceptional and unique location. Glorious views of Florence from the rooftop terrace, delicious food and stimulating conversation. Highly recommended at the start of your trip for insights and tips on visiting Florence and Tuscany.
Recently my wife and I had the distinct pleasure of dining with Antonella in her home in the heart of Florence. It was nothing less than a magical experience and easily one of the most memorable from our trip to Italy. To start with, Antonella herself is such a fascinating host: beautiful, charming, sophisticated, multitalented, yet very down to earth. Her family has deep roots in Florence. As a result, both her life story and her knowledge of Florence are extremely captivating. Which is to say, if we had simply met Antonella at a local restaurant, it would have been a wonderful evening. Another extremely memorable part of the evening was the surroundings in which we dined. Antonella has such a beautiful home. It’s very aesthetically pleasing. And her rooftop terrace is simply beyond words. The view of Florence is unbelievable. It was way beyond my wildest expectations. And if all that wasn’t enough, Antonella also just happens to be an incredibly inventive and talented chef. The entire dinner from start to finish was spectacular. We could have made an entire meal from her appetizers, yet she continued to bring course after delicious course from her kitchen (for example, I can’t stop thinking about her Tuscan sausage and beans dish). Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and well thought out (for example dessert was on the lighter side given the amount of food that came before). We couldn’t have asked for a better evening and we are so grateful to Antonella for all the work she put in to make it happen. Thus, if you have the opportunity to visit Florence and to dine with Antonella, you should consider yourself very very lucky.
We had been in Italy for four days when we had the pleasure of sitting down to dinner with Antonella. Her food was hands-down the best food that we ate during our entire trip in Italy. I am so glad that we booked this experience. The food that we had was not food that we would’ve ordered I had we gone to a restaurant. Which made it all that much better because we got to experience a wider variety of Italian food. Home cooking cannot compare it to what you get at a restaurant if you want to experience real Italian food. Also we were pretty disappointed in the bread that we had gotten at restaurants along the way because there seem to be such a hype about the breads. And then we had Antonellis bread and we knew what they were talking about. Homemade bread is definitely a luxury! It was kind of disappointing because for the remainder of our trip we were comparing our meals to what we got at Antonello’s house. Our last day in Florence we were debating on whether we should call her up and see if she was available to make one more meal for us before we left. We also love the experience of being able to be in her home as well as going up on the rooftop and overlooking all of Florence with its sparkling lights at night. I can’t imagine how awesome it would’ve been if it hadn’t been raining. We loved every aspect of our experience with dinner at Antonello‘s house. If we ever make it back to Italy I wouldn’t think of going without dining with her again!!
