As you all know, a typical Italian dish you find in a traditional Italian kitchen is pasta.
Above all, home made pasta, in all its various forms - fettuccine, ravioli, gnocchi, lasagna, cannelloni, orecchiette, strozzapreti, cavatelli - is true to the authentic Italian cuisine!
This cooking class in Rome will teach you the right cooking techniques to make your own Italian home made pasta. After our pasta making class, you will definitely be able to surprise your friends with new skills and delicious meals!

As a guest, you will prepare your meal guided by my help, after which we will experience our “masterpieces” together during a lovely, friendly dinner. Our pasta making class is all about having a good time, while learning about food and dining in Rome, and relaxing over a friendly meal with good conversation!

When eating in Rome, a dinner is not complete without a bottle of wine! As such, a simple wine will be served during the dinner.

PS: I have cats in the house, in case you are allergic!

Cooking Class Timing:

The class starts at 5 pm to have dinner at 8 pm


Menu (3 kinds of Pasta or 2 kinds of pasta and dessert)

Fettucine al ragù (meat based tomato sauce) or
Orecchiette alle cime di rapa (with broccoli) WINTER DISH or
Tagliolini al limone (lemon based cream sauce) or
Tonnarelli alla carbonara (pork cheek, eggs and pecorino cheese) or
Tonnarelli all’amatriciana (pork cheek, tomato and pecorino cheese) or
Strozzapreti al gorgonzola e noci (gorgonzola cheese and wallnuts) or
Cavatelli al sugo di salsiccia (sausage and tomato sauce) or
Cavatelli all'arrabbiata ( garlic, chili and tomato sauce) or
Ravioli ricotta e spinaci al burro e parmigiano (filled with ricotta cheese and spinaches and cooked with butter and parmigiano) WINTER DISH or
Cappellacci di ricotta e patate al burro e parmigiano (filled with ricotta, potato, onion and cooked with butter and parmigiano) or
Gnocchi al gorgonzola e noci (gorgonzola cheese and wallnuts ) or
Gnocchi with pesto sauce (garlic, basil , pecorino and pinenuts) or
Gnocchi alla sorrentina (onion,basil based tomato sauce and mozzarella) or
Gnocchi alla romana (semolino gnocchi with butter and parmigiano) or
Lasagna bolognese classica (meat based tomato sauce parmigiano and besciamel) or
Cannelloni ricotta e spinaci al pomodoro e besciamella o( pasta rolls stuffed with spinaches and ricotta in a onion and basil tomato sauce and besciamel)


Classic Tiramisu or
Millefoglie con crema e frutti di bosco (puff pastry with custard and wood berries) or
Millefoglie al cioccolato (puff pastry with cocoa custard and chocolate pieces) or
Semifreddo al cioccolato (chocolate parfait) or
Semifreddo al pistacchio (pistachio parfait) or
Semifreddo alle nocciole (hazelnuts parfait) or
Semifreddo alle fragole (strawberries parfait) or
Panna cotta al cioccolato (chocolate cooked milk cream)
Panna cotta alla frutta ( fruit cooked milk cream)


My house is very comfortable, modern, and welcoming.
You will enjoy this meal in Rome in a 50 meter square cosy room, which combines the kitchen, the living room and dining room all at once. Shaped as such, the place, allows my guests to interact easily.

My place is very close to Vatican City and Prati quarter (50 meters from metro A, Cornelia stop). So it's also very easy to reach!

The quarter is very commercial and full of life - perfect to go shopping or have a coffee before our event :)

Francesca was a wonderful instructor and very accommodating to our dietary requests. We had a great time making pasta with her and the food was delicious!



We had a great time with Francesca! She is a very good teacher and super fun to be around. We made a 3 dish course with 1 choice of pasta, 1 main dish and a dessert. Recipes are tasty and easy to replicate, I already manage to do the pasta and meatballs at home and the result was (almost!) as good, I'm amazed! Thank you, Francesca!

We had a great food experience with Magic Francesca making different types of pasta, including a ravioli. My husband and teenage son, who do very little cooking, enjoyed the afternoon, and my son said it was the highlight of the trip for him. Francesca made sure everyone was comfortable and participating. She definitely knows her stuff; we tried lemon pasta in two different restaurants in Sorrento, and we all agreed they were not as not as good as the one we made with Francesca! We are looking forward to trying Francesca's recipes when we get home!
