We spent three weeks in Italy... and we all agreed that our dinner with Elena and family was one of the highlights of the trip. They were fun, personable, engaging, and full of ideas about what we should do and see on our trip. We enjoyed exchanging stories about life in the U.S. vs. life in Italy with such an interesting group. And of course, the food was also excellent. I think we spent the rest of our trip trying to find a tiramisu that compared to what Elena served us. It really was one of those nights when you felt like you had made some new friends.

I spent three nights in Milano last week and had a Lovely diner at Elena's. I was surprised by the quality of the Artichoke pie, creamy and tasteful, and the Grand Marnier Duck (difficult to find it so perfectly prepared out of France... i believe Elena brought some secret recipe from her travels ;-) ) ; The house was clean and cosy, and i pleasantly chatted about politic and culture with Elena's husband, Francesco, while sipping my Chianti. A very good experience!

Comfortable environment in a Home- like atmosphere perfect for a dinner with friends to taste good food. Very good flow of the first dishes with seasonal vegetables and desserts ... " Mouth - Watering " .

Ins Lokal kommen, Speisekarte studieren, bestellen, essen, zahlen. So läuft ein normaler Restaurantbesuch meist ab. Aber es geht auch anders! Ich habe schon mehrmals bei Elena gegessen und war immer begeistert - hier bei Ihr zu Hause herrscht eine wunderbar unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Elena achtet bei der Auswahl der Speisen auf frische Nahrungsmittel und kocht sehr gesund und abwechslungsreich. Es gibt meist mehrere Gänge wobei die Pasta oder ähnliches nicht fehlen darf. Mein Favorit waren z. B. Vitello Tonnato, Ihre verschiedensten Pasta-Kreationen oder Ihr leckeres Tiramisu. Ihr Garten, ist eine kleine ruhige Oase im Herzen Mailands, Ihre Familie ist sehr liebenswürdig - man muss sie einfach gern haben. Sie sprechen alle gut Deutsch. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Treffen.

Elena ist eine sehr gute und aufmerksame Köchin. Ihre Aufmerksamkeit ist nicht nur auf das Essen bezogen sondern auch auf die Personen. Die ganze Familie ist sehr empfangsfreundlich und “sonnig”. Elena achtet auch sehr darauf, dass all ihre Zutaten naturrein sind und sie bevorzugt Bioprodukte. Bisher habe ich immer spitze bei ihr gegessen. Sie hat immer sehr ausgewählte und besondere Gerichte, von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Auch wenn sie nur etwas einfaches kocht, ist es immer besonders gut und mit viel liebe vorbereitet.
