ABOUT THELOCATION

This is studio kitchen in a 65-sqm apartment on the 1st floor in a traditional upper middle-class block of flats. The building was built in 1920s and it has an old gate with double wings, 2 staircases, corridors, inner yard and big pillars. Our studio has a big, well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room (NOT a basement room). The place has vintage style furniture with warm colours and several nice objects to create a friendly atmosphere. In the kitchen 8-10 people can cook at the same time. I had a wonderful time cooking with Marti of Kitchen Pixie in her lovely home kitchen. She's a delightful lady and super organised. We got thru the Jewish menu (including making Challah bread) rather efficiently, leaving enough time to indulge in the food over a good chat. I learned something interesting about the Jewish food culture and picked up some good tips too. The experience was definitely a highlight during my Budapest trip!
