I am passionate about hosting people. And I love traveling. The merger of these two things comes the initiative to offer my favorite dishes taste in my current home. . We can dine in my living room (or the terrace, if the weather permits) in my penthouse which is in Barcelona's Gothic quarter. My menus are a fusion between my roots, Basque cuisine and what I have learned through my travels, mainly Asia and Africa. Not forgetting my years managing the restaurant "The Magic Flute". You are free to choose the combination of first, second and desserts. Ask me for recommendations ;) The atmosphere is comfortable and warm, always quality music and is designed for 2 to 6 people to maintain a situation of intimacy.

Pablo was a friendly, engaging and generous host who made us feel very relaxed and happy. The food he served was delicious and of high quality. We had a very enjoyable evening. We would recommend his hospitality to others visiting Barcelona.

We joined Pablo in his apartment near LA Rambla for dinner. He has a very lovely space with music and candle light overlooking the City. Pablo is a photographer and a former chef. His English is very good making it easy for us to have a conversation. He is from the Basque country and we had a good review of the geography and history of the area. We started with a simple appetizer of Humos and bread and wine from Reberia, followed by a very interesting Tibetian salad (see photo) that paired peanuts and puffed rice with a mélange of vegetables- very nice! The main course was a Basque stew of potatoes, carrots and fish. Postre was fruit and a thick chocolate sauce. We talked over coffee until 22:00. It was everything we hoped for in a Bonappetour evening - a lovely and welcoming home, friendly and intelligent host and tasty and interesting dinner. We would recommend Pablo to others!
