I come from Khon Kaen in the Isaan Region and i move to Phuket cause i love sea and my husband work there. I had my previous restaurant for many years, where i specially cooked Isaan food. I am lover of traditions and i like to personalize food with a touch of Isaan style, but original Thai food still also a hit. I know farang very well because my husband, who is also an Asian food lover, and I really know what a foreigner wants during dinner and the way to surprise them with a mixture of tasty food and eye-catching arrangements. It would be a pleasure to cook Thai cuisine for you!
Our house is located just in the entrance of Phuket Town in a nice white Village named Sino-Village, due to the characteristic Sino-Thai Villas, with a marvelous garden full of every Thai Plants. Dinner can also be eaten in the Garden depending on the weather.
As part of the BonAppetour curation team, I had the chance to dine with Siriluk and her husband Massimo at their lovely home in Phuket. We had a lovely lunch of the crunchy Som Tum (papaya salad), Tamarin Prawns, Tom Kha Kai (chicken herbal soup) as well as crispy fried chicken joints (may sound new but very addictive!). At the table, Massimo tell us more about himself and why he has decided to move from Italy to Thailand and keeping us engaged with his travel stories while Siriluck kept filling the table with more food and her hospitality! For dessert, we moved to their gardem to enjoy a sweet and slightly savory pumpkin cooked in coconut milk. Both of them explained about the plants in their garden and some of the ingredient they pluck from this garden to use as part of Siriluk's cooking! Overall I felt very welcome and the food was deliciously comforting!
