They say Indian cuisine is the hardest to make! That’s because the dishes are infused with so many spices, so many stories, and has influence from so many cultures! Find out about India culture through food! This would be a comprehensive journey of sights, sounds, smell, touch and taste!

Visit 3 popular food stops in Little India and sample up to 4 food items per stop. During the walk, grab the opportunity to learn local culture, history and stories of this ethnic quarter. Don't forget to take those Instagram-worthy travel photos. We guarantee that this tour is both affordable and eye-opening.


By default, we cannot share with you the exact details of each food stop but you will visit 3 key food stops and explore many other sights and places of interests in Little India!

1. Foodstop I - Komal Vilas Restaurant.
Our appetizer stop - Visit a popular Indian eatery chain frequented by locals and even celebrities. When Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi arrived in Singapore, he was invited to dine there together with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Serving some of the best Indian food, you can snack on some delicious appetizers like thosai (indian rice flat pancakes) served with 3 types of condiments - tomato chutney, coconut chutney & sambar.

2. Foodstop II
Our main course stop. Visit a local hawker food centre filled with all kinds of yummy delicacies such as briyani (fragrant rice cooked with a variety of spices, and meats like chicken or mutton), vadai (a savoury donut eaten alone or together with chutneys) and more. Also have a drink of the delicious teh tarik - milk tea that is made even more flavourful with tea-pulling - let us know if you taste the difference!

3. Foodstop III
Our dessert stop. Visit a traditional India sweets store, showcasing a whole range of Indian sweets - from the orange coloured jilebi, white colour milk based halwa, the golden balls soaked in sweet syrup and more. Guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth.

4. During the tour...
Of course, as we are walking through Little India, enjoy the vibrant colours in shops, aromas of the different spices, and indulge in local culture as you interact with the local chefs and food-experience providers. Excellent tour guides, K. Yap and Dani were great lovely lively hosts. Good local knowledge and very personable. Totally worth it! Had an amazing day with them checking out all the spots which were well chosen, offering variety and great insight into the food and culture of Little India! Got great overview of Little India town. Fascinating to both see and taste the Indian cuisine. The highlight of the tour : we get to try "pulled tea",.. teh tarik, The delicious teh tarik! Ridiculously Fun !
