Yim Tin Tsai is a remote little Hakka village in Sai Kung. Years ago, missionaries arrived at this small village. They baptized the Hakka people there and it thus became the only Catholic village in Hong Kong. I is one of the most blessed piece of land in Hong Kong as there were many vocations. Nowadays, there are no Catholics left in the village but memories.

If you would like to spend an afternoon far from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a good place for you. We will first walk around Sai Kung pier, where you can see how local fisherman sell fish from boats and have a seafood feast. Then, we will take you on a small boat to Yim Tin Tsai. There you could learn more about the Hakka tribe, taste some delicious Hakka dessert such as Cha Guo and visit the salt field next to the mangrove. If you are a Christian, we can maker this a pilgrimage and take you to pray at the little Catholic Chapel there too.

What we propose:
Meet at Kowloon Bay/ Choi Hung MTR station
Take minibus to Sai Kung Pier
Have a seafood lunch/ Chinese Dim Sum Lunch (contact us for the menu)
Take a 15-min small boat through the Sai Kung waterfront to Yim Tin Tsai
Visit the Salt field and different places there
Enjoy some Hakka dessert
Return to Sai Kung Pier and have a walk there
