ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

Make sure you come hungry and ready to have the experience of a life time. We are going to prepare fresh sea food from our farm like shells,fish and shrimps.For no-fish lovers we also prepare meat and we even have vegetarian options.
Your dinner will be served in our garden where we grow our own vegetables.

ABOUT THEMENU

On the menu for the evening:
Our cuisine combines flavors with fresh sea food, meats and seasonal fruits and vegetables. We always start with fresh oysters and clams accompanied by red or white wine of the region.For starters we offer "buzara" (local shellfish dish),than we continue with cuttlefish risotto and we finish with fresh fried fish with seasonal salads.
The menu can change depending on the preferences of the guests.
For dessert there will be a crepes or seasonal fruits.

The place where the experience will happen is our garden where we grow our own vegetables.
We are in Bijela,Montenegro.
We have private parking on premises.

We recently had a most enjoyable dinner Dalibroker and Slavo in their garden. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate so that we could eat on the beach but that did not detract from our experience. We were greeted with an herb appearativ while we got to know each other. We were 2 couple in our party. Slavo was hard at work opening fresh oysters which were as good as ours on the MS Gulf Coast. That was followed by a huge pot of steaming mussels in an absolutely delightful light wine sauce. I thought there was no way we’d eat that whole pot, but we did. This was followed by a seafood risotto. I must say, the risotto was a bit different than what we are used to, but tasty nonetheless. When we didn’t think we could eat another thing, we were served the best lightly fried small sardines that you eat head, tail and all. It had been a while since I’d eaten sardines and they were as good as I remembered. To cap off our evening, Dalibroka had made an apple strudel which was fantastic. Of course, all of this was accompanied by some very good red and white wine. If you are thinking about doing this, I higHly recommend it. We had one of the most memorable and brilliant experiences during our time in Montenegro with Daliborka! From the email contact in the lead up making sure we knew where it was and whether we had dietary restrictions, the entire experience was just fabulous! If we could recommend on thing from our three week trip it would be this dinner! We were staying in Kotor and rented a car for a few days, we drove up the coast and hung out at different beaches for the day and then arrived at the dinner around 6:30pm. We were welcomed with wine, cold water, and a beautiful table set up right on the bay. We then had a 3 hours dinner of different seafood courses and the seafood could not be more fresh! If you are looking for the most unique and beautiful experience then this is for you! I wish we could go back and do it all over again!! Also the hosts were amazing, they walked us through all the different seafoods, how they catch them/ cook them and chatted with us about Montenegro!

I'm always looking for unique experiences and this one is definitely very unique and interesting. We came to the oyster farm, were warmly greeted by Daliborka, her husband Slavo and their son. We had wonderful super fresh and tasty food. For me it was first time to try an oyster and probably it's hard to imagine better place to do it. Risotto, mussels, fresh salad, sardines and wine were well balanced and very tasty! And it was very interesting to learn about the life of our hosts! Definetely great experience!
