Have a great bonding time with my friends and at the same get to know more of the history of Singapore better
This is our first time with BonAppetour. We had a great time! It is a really good experience and a smart idea to create such unique experiences in Singapore. My husband and I will definitely take part in more of such events. Thank you!
spelling error. it's muar sugar cane not maur. overall fun. good concept. but ic for each station should be giving the same instructions to all groups. e.g. first station guy said must finish before can submit answer but the other group just submitted their answer after just a few bites
Giving us insights of Chinatown which we do not know. Overall its fun except that some game master are not set up yet...
Came across this BonAppetour experience through Facebook and thought it would be a good way to spice up my stay in Singapore. Never would I have thought that I took that many steps during this challenge (tracked it with my fitbit), which motivated me a lot. Really a different form of exercising & I enjoyed it very much. None of the challenges were tough, but none of them were easy either - making it, I'd say, suitable for all ages and even families as well. This would've been the highlight of my vacation yet! Would highly recommend this to everyone!
Very interestibg tour. I tried dishes that were quite good but the kinds I never would've ventured alone without explanation. Not only did I learn about the particulars of the inteoduced food but also got some insight about the areas we were visiting. The stalls indeed were quite popular as the line was quite long at each stall. It would've been better if the food wasn't sitting there for a bit and we wouldn't have minded to wait maybe 5 min or so once we got to each stall. but I can also understand it would be difficult to time when the queue was not predictable. Angela, the tour guide, was so great as she was very experienced in handling customers and insightful in Singaporean history. I recommend this tour to those who are new to Singapore or Singaporean cuisine. Be sure you go on an empty stomach!!
I first learned about BonAppetour on Instagram. Their ad popped up on my feed and it got me curious. My family and I were very keen on trying out the Michelin star hawkers here in Singapore but we never have the time to cue up (as waiting could take up to hours and that doesn't guarantee you getting a meal as these hawkers get soldout early). Their food tour was the perfect opportunity for us to try these famous meals. So without knowing what to expect, I booked a tour for us. Booking was easy as it was confirmed quickly by the host. I had a few questions and he answered some. As the tour was approaching, My husband and I started to get worried as they weren't replying nor contacting us as to where or how we should meet. We were starting to think that it might be a fraud. Fortunately, on the morning before the tour, we decided to contact someone from BonAppetour's website. We got a response and finally was able to breathe properly as it was a legit tour. We met our guide at Lavender station and started our tour. It was a great experience for all of us. BonAppetour even provided a small slice of cake and sang a birthday song for our daughter's birthday. Good attention to details as I've mentioned prior that we were celebrating her birthday. Overall, the small hiccup in the beginning was okay as the whole experience made up for it. It was very liberating experiencing Singapore culture at its finest. Thanks, BonAppetour!
