ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

in this experience after a small chat to introduce the Oaxacan cuisine to you and decide our menu (depending the time of the dinner) you will learn how to select and buy the best and freshest ingredients from the Xoxocotlan local market to cook our fantastic Oaxacan meal. After the market tour, we will go back to Quinta Brava (a short walk from the market). We will then start to cook some corn tortillas in different ways - stuffed with fresh cheese or Quesillo, maybe with some squash blossoms or maybe mushrooms to prepare some Quesadillas for snacks with a red or green tomato soft spicy sauce, then you will cook a real Oaxacan dish like Mole Negro, Mole Amarillo, Coloradito, Costillas en Salsa Verde, Encacahuatado and much more main dishes with a personal touch. After we cook the mains we will startt the dessert, and you can choose between Oaxacan Chocolate Ice Cream, Nieve de leche quemada and many more options. Enjoy our uniquue outdoor kitchen with a relaxing view to our garden

ABOUT THEMENU

We are flexible to create different menus for you, depending on what you are interested in. We are creating the true "OAXACAN EXPERIECE", and we aim to show to our guests the magic of Oaxaca and Mexican food in the real way. We will have a 3 course menu which can be a appetizer or salad or soup, main dish, and dessert, 2 or 3 sauces, fresh water, corn tortillas basically side dishes.

For the appetizers,you can choose between quesadillas, memelas, empanadas, tostadas, guacamoles in different ways hot and super hot sauces and much more - this is just a little example

For soups.... what can i say there is tons of recipes, my favorite ones are, squash blossoms flower cream, black bean soup, and corn and mushrooms soup those ones taste so good but if you prefer something different we can do it - just let me know.

For the main dishes, we can choose between Mole Negro, Mole Amarillo, Coloradito, Costillas en Salsa Verde, Encacahuatado, chichilo negro, pipian verde or espinazo de cerdo

For the sweet part - the desserts..... we will have ice cream, maybe some nieve, or maybe some empanadas de lechecilla or arroz con leche - these ones are some of the favorites of lot of people

We are located at 15 minutes from Oaxaca down town, Quinta Brava is a spacious outdoor garden surrounded by large palm trees, natural organic frutal trees and plant garden is a nice and quiet location, perfect to enjoy a nice dinner with the people you care, Quinta Brava offers you personal attention, an amazing time in a very nice atmosphere where you can enjoy a typical and traditional Oaxacan dish with a special personal touch: As we have a nice talk about the 8 regions of Oaxaca and and its food and magic we can decide a menu for the evening and taste some mezcal
