I wish to satisfy your taste buds with my recipes from the Italian culinary tradition.
I Also tell you stories and secrets about some typical italian dishes.
To begin with, you can taste my appetizers: local cheese, cold cuts and seasoned olives.
Pasta is the symbol of our country: you can choose between "spaghetti with citrus fruit pesto" or penne with swordfish and eggplant, or "pesto alla genovese"(vegetarian) and much more. All pasta sauces are freshly prepared by me.
A second course choice from: roasted rabbit with potatoes; mackerel fillet sweet and sour; fried calamari and shrimp, "Parmigiana di melanzane" (eggplant, parmigiano cheese, mozzarella, tomato, basil), and much more.
The bread is homemade by me.
Side dishes: mixed salad or sauteed seasonal vegetables.
A good Tuscan wine (Chianti) will be served with dinner.
Seasonal fruit
Dessert: "bianco mangiare" ( a traditional and very tasty dessert with milk, sugar, almonds) or "torta di mele con uvetta e noci" (apple pie with raisins and nuts) or "dolce di pere e cioccolato" (Pear and chocolate cake).
Last but not least, a good italian coffee.
