Located on my terrace overlooking the sea, come watch the sunset over Capri as you sip on a cocktail and indulge in the local cuisine of the Sorrento Peninsula.

ABOUT THEMENU

I work with local, ingredients so I cook with the seasons but below are my favourites to serve.

Fresh prosciutto
Bruschetta
Arancini - deep fried rice ball
Cozze - fresh mussles
Fresh, Local mozzarella di bufala - local buffalo milk mozarella
Beef Carpaccio - thinly sliced eye of round beef, marinated in lemon with pear, arugula & piave cheese
Parmigiana Di Melanzane - Eggplant parm. Neapolitan style
Pasta al vongole - Linguine with clams
Pasta alla Nerano - Linguine with slow cooked thinly slices zuchini, 3 cheese sauce and basil
Gnocchi alla sorrentina - homemade gnocchi served with fresh mozzarella, parmesan cheese, tomato sauce and baked in the oven until crisp on top.
Pasta e Patate - Neapolitan style pasta cooked in a creamy potato sauce

Dessert
Torta caprese - Chocolate and almond flour cake originating on the Isle of Capri.

ABOUT THELOCATION

Massa Lubrense is a 15 minute drive from the center of Sorrento, Italy (Piazza Tasso). It is a quaint town, full of natural beauty, breathtaking views of Capri and Ischia, amazing sunsets, a cute marina and little shops to visit. We are located right in the center of Massa Lubrense, so it is easily accessible by public transit. Because we are in the center of the town, during dinner on the terrace it is very common to have live music from the summer concerts in the piazza below.

Dinner at Tessa’s was a wonderful and unforgettable experience! Both Tessa and Mario were very friendly and lovely to chat with. The view from our table was stunning, my husband and I were in awe watching the sunset from the terrace. But the best part of the experience was undoubtedly the food! Easily the best meal we have had in Italy!!

The antipasto was accompanied by fresh, hot, out-of-the wood-burning stove focaccia! The pasta and lamb were both exceptional. This is a must-try experience if you are in the Amalfi Coast. Bravo Tessa!
