Japanese people do not eat sushi everyday, even though this is what most Japanese restaurants serve abroad.
When the days are getting colder and winter comes, it is time for the hot pot season to begin!
There are various types of hot pots in Japan which all have the same purpose: warm you up and fill you up!
Would you like to have a try? Then check out the possible hot pots we would like to share with you!

You can choose one type of hot pot in the list or leave us surprise you:
- shabu-shabu: thin slices of meat (pork or beef or lamb) and vegetables are briefly cooked in a pot of bouillon
- sukiyaki: thin slices of meat (pork or beef) and vegetables are simmered in a pot of Japanese sauce
- nabe: meat (pork or chicken) or fish (usually Cod) and vegetables are simmered in a pot of bouillon

We live in Rotterdam about 5 minutes on foot from Centraal Station. We can be reached by bus, train, tram, metro and car as their are plenty of parking lots around.

Japanese Home Cooking

Crossing Rotterdam, I decided to try an exotic experience for a while at Ryo's and Claire's. More than expected, wonderful tastes and experiments such as rolling takoyakies or challenging them to anafuda awaited me in this very comfortable place ! I definitively cannot do anything but recommending this address provided by really welcoming people ! ありがとうございました。 Claire & Ryo :-)

Hi Ryo, Your sushi was the best I ever had! Very fresh and full of subtle flavours. I highly recommend your cooking and I will be back for more :-) All the best! Margitte

Hi Ryo ! I've got the oppotunity to eat your Japanese cooking such as Takoyaki, very soft roast pork or maki, and I've been delighted by the excellent taste of your food. I've received a very good welcome and will be very pleased to repeat this experience. Thank you so much for all. Ghislaine.
