I have been cooking to my friends and family almost 14 years. They love my food and love to come to visit me. I hope i can show it to the world as well! :)
The location is in the centre of Budapest in one of the nicest neighbourhood. Close to the Danube bank, the Margaret island and the Parlament.
I love to travel and when i have possibilities i go and look for new places. This is the reason why
Do NOT miss this opportunity with Peter and, hopefully, his lovely wife, Sofia!! No doubt the weather was perfect for terrace dining which added to the fairy tale dining in the flat above the park, but the food and our hosts were perfect! The six of us had the best night with the best food and new friends in Budapest, which we plan on keeping in touch with, in hopes to see this young talented couple in the near future, be it in Arizona or Budapest!!! Please don't miss this opportunity that will be the highlight of your trip!! Randi & Joe Malisewski Tucson, Arizona Dining experience on 4/28/2018 ( I will include pictures once downloaded)
My husband and I joined Peter and his family for a wonderful dining experience in Budapest. This was our first dining-with-a-local experience, and Peter has now set the bar exceptionally high for any future experiences! Everything was absolutely wonderful- from the palinka tastings, to the multiple wine pairings with both dinner and dessert. We dined on traditional home-made Hungarian dishes, learned about Budapest and Hungarian culture, and swapped travel stories from around the globe. The sunset views from their rooftop terrace made for a beautiful and memorable evening. On the menu was duck liver pate (made by Peter's father); cucumber salad (made by Peter's mother); peach cream soup with goat cheese, mint and chili; chicken paprika with noodles; and somloi sponge cake for desert. We sampled 2 different flavors of palinka (plum and rose hip) and 3 different types of wine. Peter is quite the wine expert, so the pairings were perfect! We had a white wine called Furmint from the Somlo region, a red wine called Indian Summer from the Eger region, and Tokaji Aszu, considered to the be "the wine of kings" and "the king of wines"! We cannot recommend this type of experience enough. You can spend your money on a fancy night out talking only to the person/people you're traveling with, or you can be welcomed into the home of a friendly local for a delicious home-cooked meal and wonderful conversation. We highly recommend you book a dining experience with Peter and his family on your next visit to Budapest!
