This Food & History tour focuses on history of food and cultural significance of Czech meals. So who are we? Simply locals who present our point of view to Prague visitors through the simple concept of food. Be prepared for five stops, minimum 15 tastings and some walking to counter-balance the eating. Our goal is simple: introduce you to our city, Czech food and history!
ABOUT YOUR HOST
My name is Chris and I organize culinary experiences since 2017. I’ve already showed Prague to hundreds of people and at least 99% of them liked it. I have also started Czech Evolution Project, a website that tracks down over 1000 years of Czech cuisine evolution. There used to be way more spices in our food as doctors sang praises about them. Czechs invented a number of culinary gems now used globally. Beer soup was sort of morning coffee and beaver’s tail – delicacy. Punishment through sauerkraut... can you imagine that?
