For those looking for a really traditional taste of our culture, come join me in my cooking classes. I'm a part of big family which runs a few restaurants in Italy and we are famous for choosing our organic high quality food in our cooking.
I'm happy to open my house to those who really like learn how to cook pasta, and also to make pasta from scratch (Yup, hand-made pasta!)! And after all that, you will enjoy dinner in a romantic atmosphere in my living room.
Please note that groups are preferred and do book minimum 3 days in advance.
Great location and very convenient! My home is right in front of Piazza Santa Croce, one of the most famous squares of central Florence. It is good to explore the city from my home, you can even enjoy a B&B stay if you like.
I'm a world citizen and love to have people around me. I love to cook for friends, I do cooking
My Granddaughter and I had the privilege of attending a cooking class with Elisabetta. She is a superb cook and a wonderful hands-on teacher. We had such a good time cooking together with her and making memories. The class was fun, educational and we took home with us some ideas to use in our own kitchen. Eating what we helped prepare was such a treat. I would highly recommend this class. We are looking forward to her cookbook when it comes out.
This was such an incredible experience. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was amazing. We loved Elisabette, she was so sweet and really made the experience.
Elisa did not show up to the class I scheduled. I have not received a refund for the class. This was the one thing I was looking forward to the most during my Honeymoon in Italy and I was so disappointed when I had to call Eliza and she said she forgot and was not even in town. Plus, I was put 20€ for the taxi ride. I have yet to receive a response from Bon Appetour regarding a refund. Buyer beware.
We had a wonderful cooking experience with Elisabetta! She introduced us to Tuscan ingredients and flavorings while we participated in the overall preparation of our meal including appetizers, pasta and dessert. Elisabetta was very welcoming and engaging in conversation about cooking and life in Florence. The food was delicious and the company was divine. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to have a cooking experience in a Florentine home!
Impressive experience! My friend and I had such a wonderful time at Elisabetta's. Elisabetta is a delightful and heart warming person. We truly enjoyed learning Italian home cooking but also the best part was knowing such generous, fun and amazing persons like Elisabetta. We made fettuccine noodles, ravioli, delicious bolognese sauce, and tiramisu. Everything was super delicious and we are glad that we are able to make them at home!! It was absolutely the best part of our whole trip in Italy and I would definitely love to visit her next time.
Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing experience my mother, nephew, and I had. Elisabetta is an absolute gem of a human being. Probably the highlight of our entire trip to Italy was learning to cook traditional dishes and enjoy them with Elisabetta and her lovely boyfriend in their beautiful home. They were so incredibly generous. If you enjoy great food, great people and truly connecting with locals you MUST book this experience.
We all LOVED our experience we Elisabeth doing Bonappetour! We didn't really know what to expect going into it but it was such a delightful experience. The food was absolutely amazing and Elisabeth and Ref were so welcoming. They made us feel comfortable and it was so much fun talking to some locals. I would definitely be interested in another Bonappetour :)
I took Elisabetta's class this past Saturday. It was an incredible experience! The food was delicious and we got to be hands on in the preparation, which is so important. We made fettuccine noodles and focaccia from scratch, and the most delicious Bolognese sauce I have ever had. We also made a to-die-for tiramisu. Her English is perfect and she is the most delightful person, so warm and inviting. The apartment is what you would hope an apartment in Florence, Italy, would look and feel like, which only enhanced the experience. I would love to take another classes from this beautiful lady and I can only wish the same experience for others. If you are heading to Florence, please don't miss this opportunity. This is a memory that will remain with you for the rest of your life. You aren't just seeing a statue or painting, but actually feeling the heart of Italy.

I really enjoyed my Italian cooking lesson with Elisa. We cooked a traditional Italian meal at her home. Elisa shared cooking secrets that you would never get from a recipe. The result was a fabulous meal of homemade pasta and tiramusu. The best part is that I was able to make both again when I got home from Italy. My family was very impressed. Definitely recommend this class!
Elisa is simply the best! She is a beautiful person inside and out. My Food & Art experience with her was not only fun and delicious but also interesting and insightful. I am walking away with real knowledge of food and cooking that I didn't have before and new insights about myself which I learned from the art portion of my class. During her class she explains everything to you and makes sure you are comfortable and engaged! Food & Art was my best experience in Florence, I can't wait to come back! Thank you, Elisa!!
We had a fun evening at the house of Elisabetta enjoying her cooking in the center of Florence. Upon arriving, we were treated to a variety of specialties and got to poke around her kitchen which was actually really interesting, you can tell this is someone who really enjoys to cook and sharing her food with company. I definitely thought this was a fun alternative than going out for dinner and would recommend this evening to my friends. Eating at a local's house definitely has a lot of potential, thank you for a very interesting evening.
