ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

Let’s learn how to make tuscan dishes yourself!
Francesca gives you the opportunity to discover all the secrets of Tuscan food.
She will reveal to you some secrets to master the techniques and some tips not to forget all the steps to make your menu with success. The most important for the Chef is that you will be able to do on your own the same dishes when you come back to your country.
During the summer the kitchen class will start visiting the vegetable garden and picking the vegetables we will use in our menu.

Then, you will give the “Italian touch” to your next dinner with your friends!

ABOUT THEMENU

This hands-on cooking workshop ends with the lunch, tasting your own starters, two main courses (according to the Italian tradition) and dessert. Before starting, everyone will enjoy a selection of freshly prepared appetizers and a detailed explanation of the menu. Your menu depends on the seasonal food products.

English speaking chef

Workbooks and apron
Free use of the pool for the partecipants until 5.00 pm

ABOUT THELOCATION

We are pleasure to welcome you in our country house, where you have the possibility of enjoying, among vineyards and olive trees, the scents and flavors of the Tuscan tradition immersed in an uncontaminated nature, in a setting of absolute comfort and relax. Podere le Spighe is an old 18th century farm in the outskirts of Castiglion Fiorentino, in the heart of the Valdichiana Valley. The simple furnishings of the country house, legacy of our past reminds us of our humble origins while bringing all the services ad comforts up to modern standards. The whole structure is heated by a biomass plant and solar thermal panels. The property is located in a stock recovery area allowing visitors to spot pheasants, hares and squirrels.

The swimming pool (10×5 mt.) is located with perfect exposure, in full sun all day until sunset.
