I am from Limassol, Cyprus, a small island in the Eastern Mediterranean, of Greek culture. We immigrated in London and spend part of my childhood there. The rest of my youth I spent in Cyprus until I got married to a Greek and moved to Greece in 1981 and since then have been living in Greece. Food has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My passion for cooking started by watching my mother cook and helping her in the kitchen, back in Cyprus, as we had to return to Cyprus after she was told by the doctor that she had to move to a warmer climate due to her rheumatisms. I am a food blogger since 2007 and have published two cookbooks in English. I have worked in the airline industry for many years and my last job was working in a family restaurant in Cyprus, as an assistant chef. We moved to Nafplion in 2012 and have been teaching cooking classes and sharing my recipes on my personal blog.
