ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

A gourmet experience of Serbia's Christmas traditions in a modern setting, where you will be able to enjoy a home cooked feast prepared for special occasions only. I make an effort to source all the produce from local farmers I have gotten to know over the years, and purchase the ingredients on the day of the dinner from the local markets Djeram and Zeleni Venac. Serbia might be famous for its meat delicacies but it has an abundance of incredible fruit and vegetables. There are vegetarian options available upon request, and we can always change the timing of your event to work around your plans.

ABOUT THEMENU

1. ZAKUSKA & WELCOME DRINK
A selection of local tapas to work up your appetite: Roast pepper relish, cheese and spinach pies, serbian cheese, pork candy bites, winter salad and grandmas corn bread

2. PODVARAK: TURKEY, PORK AND WINTER CABBAGE SLOW ROAST
Slow baked for 4 hours the turkey meat from northern Serbia is paired with rich smoked pork cuts and cabbage to create a regional winter staple

3. WINTER PORK ROAST WITH SERBIAN PLUMS
Crispy pork roast with Christmas stuffing and plums soaked in sherry

4. CHOCOLATE VELVET CUBES
Light, velvety and soft chocolate cake with Madagascar vanilla cream and chocolate ganache topping

ABOUT THELOCATION

Our recently renovated apartment is located in central Belgrade, and very importantly right next to a fresh produce market called "Djeram". An easy stroll away from the Vuk Monument or a short cab ride will bring you to our door step.
