I am a journalist by profession and presently compiling a book with 51 recipes from my family kitchen (inherited through more than 6 generations). I am accompanying my husband (who is a scientist at Charles University) here in Prague. I have accompanied my husband, earlier also, during his stay in Japan and South Korea. My East-Asian stays have exposed me to some nice culinary skills of Japan. I have been hosting friends for indian cuisine since my Japan days and it has taught me to moderate the use of ingredients according to the taste buds of my guests. I prefer hosting guests for cuisines they cannot find on the menu of restaurants in Prague. My recipes are authentic recipes from the royal kitchens of my family (my husband is 116th in line of the erstwhile royal family of Raj Tamkuhi, India). I also have stories and anecdotes attached to most my recipes. Apart from Indian cooking i have experience in making cakes and sweets from different parts of the world which go well with Indian dinner or for evening or afternoon Tea.
