Alessandro was a very attentive, fun and engaging host. The menu he prepared featured fresh produce from his garden, and his preparations were inventive and delicious. The setting in his working art studio added an interesting element to our evening. He is passionate when talking about his career as an artist and was curious to learn of our travels and experiences. We would definitely recommend A for a creative and enjoyable time!

Alessandro was a fantastic host! He accommodated me and my family for an early pre-theatre dinner. We had a wonderful experience sharing stories, culture and laughter over the delicious meal he prepared. Alessandro introduced us to the differing styles of Italian regional cuisine. He also offered organic wine and fresh ingredients with the 4-course meal. The slow-cooked pork and polenta dish was our favourite! The setting of dinner at his studio surrounded by his artwork was truly unique and exceeded our expectations. We look forward to coming back again and highly recommend Alessandro to fellow BonAppetour diners!

Just discovered bonappetour during our recent trip to Milan and do not regret for having tried it out. We were were warmly received and hosted by Alessandro, who is a very nice host and great cook. He prepared us a 4 course dinner with local dishes. All were were tasty, homemade and fresh, accompanied by local organic wines produced by a friend of Alessandro and at the end digestivos from different Italian regions, some even produced by Alessandro himself. Together with a friend of Alessandro, we had a lovely evening,, nice and funny discussions and exchanges. It is a privileged opportunity to have an authentic insight into Italian way of live, as you can never get it outside in the streets of Milan.

The dinner that Alessandro prepared was amazing! We enjoyed every bit - home made gnocchi, incredible meat with antichoques and chestnuts, and poetry for all senses desert ( a combination of caramelized hazelnuts with chocolate icecream and vanilla pudding ...absolutely yummy). We had lots of fun (encouraged by the wine and nice hosts), we admired the touch of art in Alessandro's home- we had a true authentic excellent dinner experience!
