#I love cooking for friends and talking about films...

Professional Private Chef /Filmmaker... I started cooking as a little girl helping our family friend Conchetta Dipoalo in her kitchen in Hollywood. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley it was always such a treat to come into Hollywood and spend time with Conchetta in her cozy kitchen. Everything she made was from scratch so that's what I do today! For over eighteen years I've been specializing in healthy home cooked organic food that is delicious, nutritious and supports low fat, no fat, sugar free, dairy free, wheat free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets. Sharing a meal with great friends is what life is all about! I'm so happy to create the space, menu and homemade food that inspires insightful conversation and community.

Christina cooks with her heart. When I was sick with pneumonia, she brought me a big pot of chunky vegetable stew, which steadily nursed me back to health. I could literally feel the healing power of the food as I was eating it. At her annual holiday party, she serves up big bowls of a spicy curry dish to all of her friends and family, as we pass by her kitchen, drawn in by the sweet aroma, the festive lights, and by her warm and welcoming smile. I have come to think of that curry as synonymous with Christmas. Christina never comes to a party empty-handed. When I host brunch, she arrives early to help make the fluffiest of scrambled eggs. (People all want to know her secret--you will have to ask.) At my wedding party, she contributed a hearty vegetarian chili which was proud to serve to my guests. I've grown accustomed to seeing her approaching with a tin-foil-covered plate in hand, and I always look forward to the delicious baked goods that lie within--especially her chocolate chip cookies. They even taste healthy! My five-year-old loves to bake with Christina, who has a natural and magical way with children. Some of my favorite moments are lazing around, taking in a movie on her couch, while casually devouring a soup and salad combo she has just whipped up in her kitchen. I clearly cannot say enough about how much I love her cooking. And the gal herself ain't so bad either. ;)
