The lunch will open with the tasting of our extra virgin olive oil on a slice of bread, followed by an amuse bouche, accompanied by white wine Ombra. Fresh, spicy and fruity, this morsel will start you to discover Tuscany, its flavors and aromas. Going on, you will meet the appetizer, which you will taste with the Rosso di Montepulciano, Rossodisera.
The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Burberosso will allow us to introduce you to the first course, the main dish. Intense and robust, Burberosso blends perfectly with the typical Tuscan ingredients, rich in flavor and organoleptic properties, such as semi-aged pecorino cheese, Cinta Senese or Chianina. The fat part of these foods goes perfectly with the tannins of the Vino Nobile, creating a harmonious combination. Finally, the dessert will be the right conclusion to a sensory journey made of food, stories and perfumes. Combined with our sweet and spicy Vinsanto Amen, it will release fresh, crunchy and creamy feelings in your mouth.
Metinella Winery, a Montepulciano-based estate in the heart of the famous wine-growing area of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, extends over an area of 25 hectares, 20 of which are under vine cultivation. Its sandy soil owes its origin to the Pliocene epoch and enjoys a favorable sunlight exposure from the east to the south. Metinella can organize for its guests an experience from the vineyard to the table: Wine tours, Wine Tastings, Walk&Wine and Pure lunch.
