Let’s step into The Baking Loft and enjoy the making of Singapore 2 indisputable National dishes; Pandan Chiffon Cake and Chilli Crab Sauce as well as our popular Ondeh Ondeh.

Singapore desserts showcase some of the most unique ingredients of Asia. In this workshop, you will learn to make the Traditional Pandan Chiffon Cake.

This cake is made with pandan - which is a fragrant leaf with a unique flavour that is extracted to make many types of desserts. The pandan is what gives the cake its quintessential green hue, and delicious fragrance. You will learn the baking techniques to make your own light and fluffy cake, and after the class, you can enjoy it with a cup of local coffee or tea.

For chilli crab sauce, we will reveal the secrets in the making of our spicy and tangy chilli crab sauce which combined ribbons of egg and serves on a bed of crab meat salad. Rest assured that this recipe will not be a daunting one!

For dessert, you will get to make from scratch the popular ondeh ondeh which is a type of soft and chewy kueh using sweet potato filled with gula melaka and covered with desiccated coconut.
