We were fortunate enough to have host Pearly all to ourselves. She was really passionate about Sake, sharing with us her knowledge. We had an amazing time of tasting sake paired with amazing dishes by Chef Pepe of BAM! It was a truly insightful and enjoyable time, would definitely visit again. Many thanks to pearly & BAM! for having us!

A night of lovely surprises and beautifully paired sake and tapas! First of all, every single dish was wonderfully prepared... Each dish was a party in my mouth... And although it was just a tasting / pairing, it was such a flavourful spread that it was enough. The sake was surprisingly good! Awesome value for money... And for the first time, we actually realised the different palates and characters of different sakes! Each pairing was brilliant... Some sake cutting through very rich mouthfuls... Some lifting up lighter Flavours... Another complementing a slightly bitter / green pepper taste (Which I loved!) Pearly was an AMAZING host... Knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and adaptable! Everybody felt included and conversation kept up at a warm, comfortable pace. Thank you for a wonderful Monday night... We'll be back very very soon for more!!!

The sake tastings at BAM! was my virgin experience at both the restaurant and on Bonappetour. The host at BAM! was knowledgeable and passionate about the sakes and tapas. It was an interesting gastronomic fusion pairing, with Japanese-inspired Spanish tapas created by their Spanish chef. The food were amazing, most of us stayed on for a follow-up round of sake. The attendees were also a fun bunch of people, am now looking forward to my next Bonappetour event.
