ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

Jennifer Eric and story of her Journey to Veganism

This storytelling evening features Jenny, Author, Activist, Founder and Managing Partner of the vegan restaurant My Kitch’n www.mykitchn.fr in Paris (17th). A very active entrepreneur, Jenny also gives cooking classes, caters events, partakes in vegan outreach gatherings and in feeding the homeless (mostly but not limited to refugees).

Born in Sweden and schooled in Los Angeles, Jenny has lived in Paris on and off since 2001. She enthusiastically advocates healthy living! From the food we put in our bodies, to exercise, to the beauty and cleaning products we use, she strongly believes that most lifestyle diseases can be avoided by adopting proper habits and withstanding marketing manipulations.

She relies on plants, capable of photosynthesis; to create and provide the nutrients her body needs and underlines the simple fact that food is our fuel. You really truly are what you eat and so is your hair, your skin, your teeth, your bones, your blood cells, your DNA... And protein is not an issue. Neither is iron nor calcium, contrary to popular belief, once you ditch the meat and dairy.

She has written two books about plant-based living, “Feed your Face: Change your Fuel” and, “Protein: less is more”. They will be available for purchase during her Storytelling evening.

Jenny holds an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts, a Bachelor’s in Political Science specialized in International Relations, and a Master’s specialized in International Marketing.

During the presentation Jenny will address these 5 questions:

Why exclude animals and animal protein from your diet?
What are the physical, economical, environmental and animal welfare perks associated with a vegan lifestyle?
How is veganism linked to sustainability and peace on earth?
Where do you get your protein as a vegan and what is the difference between animal and plant based protein?
Do you need extra protein as an athlete (or a person with a very active lifestyle in general)?

The menu this evening will be a Vegan Feast, with a “Faux Gras” starter from the My Kitch’n kitchen, accompanied by other appetizers, Lentil Soup, Carponata over Rice and end with an amazing Banana Ice Cream dessert. See HERE for complete menu. As usual, it will be a complete dinner with choice of red or white wine, beer, cremant, and other beverages served. This Storytelling Evening will be chez moi. Codes sent when you RSVP.
