Dear guests,
I 'm an Italian Sommelier (Wine Tasting Expert) and I can offer a Wine Tasting Dinner: that is a Wine Tasting paired with a Dinner Buffet choosing the best Top Red and White Wine not only from Tuscany , but from other Italian regions, such as Sicily, Piedmont, Sardinien, Veneto and so on.

The Wine Tasting Dinner is an original dinner experience designed for Food and Wine Lovers. I created this experience as a way to turn what would otherwise be a regular dinner into a unique experience of learning, meeting like-minded friends and of course eating and drinking delicious food and wine.
In my house there will be a tasting room, so you and your fellow diners will be greeted with a glass of Top Red or White Wine . Throughout the evening, we’ll keep delicious food and wine coming and provide you with a fun and informative presentation which will boost your knowledge and confidence with the theme of Italian Food and Wine! The Food and the Wines are chosen to make for really exciting and delicious pairings.

Should you have any dietary requirements, just let us know at the end of the booking process and we’ll make sure to create a menu adapted to your needs.

ABOUT THEMENU

5 Tuscan Wines from the winery "Le Palaie" in Peccioli, Pisa:

1) Rosè Wine "Rosato delle Palaie" : coppery color, strong acidity that gives flavor and freshness, fruity aromas with floral notes, excellent persistence on the palate; merlot 50% and sangiovese 50% ;

2) White Wine "Viognier": traw yellow color with golden reflections, notes of tropical fruits and citrus fruits, long and intense finish. Soft, with a good structure and acidity, it is a wine with great evolutionary potential; 100% viogneir;

3) Red Wine "Gatta ci Cova": It is "ready to drink" , a red wine that goes well with light dishes, in every season, also excellent as an aperitif , to drink fresh. It comes from vineyards of Sangiovese and Merlot;

4) Red Wine "Sagrestano": intense ruby red color with violet reflections, hints of ripe fruit and spices. Pleasant and balanced wine with good acidity combined with a robust body; sangiovese 50%, alicante 50%;

5) Red Wine "Bulizio": intense ruby red color with slight garnet red shades, hints of ripe fruit pleasantly evolving and slight spicy notes, balanced in robust but not aggressive tannins; cabernet sauvignon ~ 40%, merlot ~ 40%, petit verdot ~ 20%

Appetizers: Tuscan crostini with soft cheese, orange marmelade, dried figs for the White Wine and Tuscan crostini with cold cuts( salami of different kind) for the Red Whine and/or pasta with ragù

ABOUT THELOCATION

My house is near the city center. It will take you 5 minutes on foot to get my house from the train station and 10 minutes on foot from the airport in Pisa. There is a parking lot near my house as well.
