We have a wonderful cooking experience with Patricia. She took us to the local market and taught us how to choose good and fresh food. I really like shopping with her. She taught us to cook in a simple way, instructed us the vital point of cooking cod fish. The food was amazing and I can cook the same way as she taught me when back home. I highly recommend this experience as this was really a good way to get to know local Portuguese food culture.

Patricia bought an unique experience to my stay in Lisbon. She showed me a local market in her neighbourhood, told me great stories about the vendors, welcomed me into her home and with her help I cooked an authentic meal complete with appetizer, a main and wine. It is an event I could never have on my own and I made a new friend in Lisbon as well!!

Cooking with Patricia was one of the highlights of my trip to Lisbon. She took me on a tour of a nearby neighborhood market, showing me the culinary splendors of Portugal. Her lovely teenage daughter joined us as well. Then we went back to her lovely apartment to prepare a delicious meal. Her generosity and hospitality were truly appreciated.

What an incredible experience! We took Patricia's cooking class where we started in the market, shopped and learned about the fresh ingredients, then went back to her lovely family home to cook up a delicious feast! Patricia was such an incredible host and teacher...and so professional, while being wonderfully familial. We were so impressed that she had aprons and recipes all laid out, along with a beautiful spread of appetizers as we started our cooking class. We had great conversation with her and her family as we chopped and stirred and ultimately had a feast around her beautifully set table. Since we'll be in Portugal for a few weeks, it was the perfect introduction to Portuguese language, food, and culture! We hope to try more BonAppetour experiences in the future!
