#I love painting and meet people

I've living in Madrid for years but I'm from La Mancha. I love travelling and tasting the real food of the country but not like a tourist . that's why I want to show it. I hope you enjoy my dinner.

Our group had a wonderful time with Marissa and her friend Anna. The the food was delicious and the conversation was delightful since they are very friendly and fun. It was great to see how a typical Madrid resident lives and get to know them ! We took many photos but I will wait until I get back into the United States to upload them.

Velada 10. !!! Recomendación 10.

My wife and I have spent quite a few weekend breaks in Madrid over the years and in this city full of wonderful food and restaurants, we have just enjoyed a great dining experience with Marisa. From the moment we entered her pretty and colourful apartment (she is a talented artist with proof of her work everywhere!) and were greeted by herself and her lovely friend Ana, to the time we said goodbye it was a really relaxing and fun time for us all. The time flew by and I was shocked to see the time when I checked it, as this evening was truly all about the different and pleasant concept of dining with hosts. This is our second such experience and we can’t wait to try it again in the next city on our travels. We were chatting like old friends all night as we made our way through Marisa’s menu, which took us away from Madrid and into her small village in La Mancha by sampling some excellent typical dishes, starting with a wonderful Manchego cheese. She followed this with a tasty plate of roasted red peppers with tomato and tuna and a plate of a strong-flavoured garlicky, oily, fishy puree. The highlight was the main course, which was a stew, made along the same lines of the lamb caldereta, famous in Castilla-La Mancha, but Marisa cooked it using chunks of very flavoursome pork. She must have cooked it for hours on end, because it was so very tender it melted in your mouth. We had a really refreshing and excellent wine which was produced in Marisa’s own village and the cake and coffee finished the evening nicely. Her place is very easy to get to from wherever you are based in Madrid and Evelyn and I positively urge you to spend an evening with Marisa and if you are lucky Ana will be there to help her that night too. Highly recommended for both the food and drink, but in equal measure the warmth of the welcome. Thanks girls it was a lovely night!

La rama culinaria de Marisa es sencillamente un espectáculo. Gran maridaje de Presentación&Sabor. Pequeños lienzos en los platos.
